Karina Blas, Director of USTA Junior Tournaments

Growing up in Poland, Karina was a Top 10 junior in the 12s, 14s, and 16s, becoming Polish Champion in 2014 and placing second in doubles at Tennis Europe 14s in 2012. She won multiple national junior singles and doubles tournaments before playing collegiate tennis at USC Aiken and St. Thomas Aquinas College, where she competed at No. 1 singles and doubles and earned a BA in Sports Management with a concentration in Athletic Administration and a minor in Marketing.

Karina began coaching at Cracow Tennis Academy in 2017 and later served as First Assistant Tennis Director at Wykagyl Country Club. Since 2020, she has also been Director of the Pelham Recreation Tennis Program. A certified national tennis referee, she has officiated junior tournaments, Futures, Davis Cup, Fed Cup, and two WTA 250 finals.

Karina brings energy to players of all levels and emphasizes good sportsmanship as an essential part of player development.
