Angel España del Rio joins the Westchester Tennis Center staff as a full-time teaching professional in September 2026 after 4 years as a staff professional at the Manursing Island Club. Originally from Valencia, Spain, Angel began playing tennis at the age of four and started competing at seven, developing a lifelong passion for the sport.
Angel recently completed his collegiate tennis career at Fresno Pacific University, an NCAA Division II program competing in the PacWest Conference in California. His experience as a high-level competitive player allows him to bring exceptional technical expertise, strategic insight, and professionalism to the court.
Angel will be working with WTC players of all ages and levels, including high performance juniors and USTA 2.5–4.5 adults. He is known for creating an energetic and positive learning environment that helps players improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game. His international background, competitive experience, and passion for coaching will make him a highly popular member of the WTC tennis staff.
